Welcome to Deathstar Productions. We are an Independant Record Company who are based in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.You are probably wondering where that is? Well it is sandwiched between Thailand in the North and Singapore in the South, in the Far East.
Deathstar Productions was formed to Promote and Sell music made by the Local Musicians in Malaysia. There is a lot of talent here and no one is giving the young bands here a chance to expand their horizons. The music industry is mainly catering to the local market. However in March 2007 we took the band PAKU on a United Kingdom Tour, the first time any Malaysian Band has ever done this, so true to our word we kept our promise by taking the music here overseas and on our website.
We have broaden the horizon for the musicians here by trying to sell their music overseas to as many places as we can..When you listen to the music, you will realise that it is varied from Rock/Dance/Reggae with influences from the 70s/80s and 90s. A little old a little new!! with bits of traditional sounds from the different ethnic groups of English/Malay/Hindi and Tamil and the songs are sung in these languages.
True to our words we have kept our promise by promoting the local musicians and their music overseas and up to date we have had over 1 MILLION HITS!!, however we as a company unfortunately have run out of funds and are unable at the moment to help anymore musicians as we would have liked to do. Even though we have achieved a considerable amount here, the local companies and government have not given us any financial support, which is quite disappointing. We at Deathstar are proud in what we have achieved, what we have done has been from the heart not a Bank Balance!! it would have been nice to have made money as well to be able to promote and invest in the youth of this country, maybe we were just ahead of our time. So if you have a wad of money which you would like to give to us to continue our quest, get in touch!! I hope you like what you listen too and that you will support us. Spread the Word and let everyone you know, all the bands and about us!! and help us to let the World know we have GREAT musicians here and they too would like a piece of it!!

Last weekend we started our PAKU tour around Malaysia at Church Street Penang Island and at KUKUM Arau Kuala Perlis. check the pictures out at "The EVENTS Page' .

WE are proud to announce that XFRESH FM are now our OFFICIAL MEDIA PARTNER and will be our MAIN RADIO STATION for the PROMOTION of THE LOVE, PEACE and HARMONY CONCERT.
Well we are now back in KL Malaysia after a whirl wind trip to 13 cities in 5 countries covered in 7 days!!! We covered over 2000 miles by road as well!!
It was a hectic Tour, however we have made a lot of new friends in Portsmouth, Birmingham, Swansea, Cardiff, Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle, Stanraer, Belfast, London and Paris!!
Both Ainniee and myself would like to say a Massive THANK YOU!! to everyone who we met that took the time to see us and show us around and hopefully we will see you all again in February 2007!!

PUREVIBRACION has now signed onto the DEATHSTAR PRODUCTIONS LABEL and we are proud that they have done so. PUREVIBRACION are now in the Recording Studio's making their First Album and it is due to be released on 27 January 2007 at BERJAYA TIMES SQUARE Kuala Lumpur at The Malaysian International Peace Day Concert( Peace,love and Harmony Concert), PUREVIBRACION have now been made AMBASSADORS of Peace by PEACE MALAYSIA to spread PEACE,LOVE and HARMONY to the WORLD!!PUREVIBRACION next gig is at the Club O'HANA in KL on 2 November 2006 see Malaysia No1 Roots Reggae band there!!
They have also just come back with Deathstar Productions on our First INTERNATIONAL GIG!! In Jakarta Indonesia having Played at a Open Air Concert at Jati Luhur after being invited by The "Bikers- Brotherhood" and they also played at HARD ROCK CAFE Jakarta.
